This is a proposal for places to visit, not a navigation track: agree roads suitable for the Vespa before riding.

Choose this area as an alternative to the Barolo and La Morra ride. Focusing on one main area leaves more time for breaks and makes the return easier to plan. Actual distance depends on your route and detours: check that your day fits within the 100 km included in the published daily rate.

First stop: explore Alba on foot

Include Alba as a walking stop, allowing separate time for riding and visiting. You can start at Piazza Risorgimento, home to the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, and choose a city break before continuing towards the hills.

Check permitted parking and the access restrictions shown locally, then leave the scooter and continue on foot. If you have booked a museum or another activity, account for its time when planning the rest of the day. Visits, meals and admission are separate from the rental.

Second stop: Barbaresco

Barbaresco is worth a proper stop rather than simply riding through. Its tower is a village landmark; plan a walk and consider a visit after checking access and opening hours directly before adding it to your schedule.

The Barbaresco hills are one component of the vineyard landscape recognised by UNESCO. Leave time to enjoy the village and vineyard views while allowing for the return ride. Arrange any winery appointment separately and plan tastings so you will not need to ride after drinking alcohol.

Neive: an optional extra stop

If you have time and your agreed route allows it, consider adding Neive. Treat it as a choice during planning, rather than an automatic last-minute extension. A longer break in Alba or Barbaresco can already make a satisfying day.

Our location is Via Alba-Barolo 99 in Castiglione Falletto. The published full-day rental runs from 09:30 to 18:30, with a rate of €90 per 125cc Vespa and 100 km included. The rental page explains accessories and conditions: read it before making fixed plans for the day.

Riding experience and a driving licence valid for the scooter are required. Tell us which country issued your licence and mention any passenger in the request. Check the weather and plan suitable clothing; discuss changes to your programme or questions about the conditions before confirmation.
